Fuentes, Tappan announce engagement
Sonja Giovanca Fuentes, 36, and Paul James Tappan, 35, announce their engagement.Fuentes, a lifelong resident of Foster City, is a project manager at Genentech Inc. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
A lifelong resident of San Mateo, Tappan is a firefighter engineer in Union City. He received his bachelor's degree in law and society from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
The couple plans to wed July 7, 2007.
